Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain E3 Trailer shows the power of language

We have just received the newest Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain footage from E3 as shown in the trailer below. Careful for spoilers in the trailer if you want to keep the element of surprise.

In the five-minute trailer, we see Skull Face narrating about the power of language and how change influences war. A bloodied Snake walks through a war-stricken Mother Base which is followed by Snake sparring with Shalashaska aka Revolver Ocelot.

It almost seems like there is a sub-culture at the MSF Mother Base that we will get to experience in all its glory. Of course, MGS is never complete with a touch of bizarre madness. And this is where we see Snake and Liquid crashing into a jungle and encounter what we believe are MGS’s take on mech-zombies. The footage hints at a highly cinematic experience but things escalate when Snake encounters Skull Face. We’ll let you decide yourself what that feels like.

MGS V: The Phantom Pain will be available September 1 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows. Let us know what you think about the trailer in the comments below.
