Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has a rather expensive set of in-game microtransactions for its FOB mode, which is essentially its online multiplayer for now.
Yesterday, we had our first look at the microtransaction prices for the game, although they appear to be based on the price on the New Zealand PlayStation Store hence the currency was mistaken as US Dollars instead of New Zealand Dollars. Now that the game has officially been released, the microtransactions for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain have also gone live on the UK and US store.
You can take a look at the price of these microtransactions on the UK and US store in the images below.
These microtranscations can cost you as low as $0.99, to as high as $49.99 in the game. Keep in mind that the only way to obtain more Mother Base coins is through daily login bonus. So either you have to resort to logging into the game daily to get the bonus points or buy them using real-world currency so that you can expand your FOB in the game.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has launched today on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
