Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was released on September 2 in Japan. The game has been in development for quite a while so there is a lot of hype surrounding it. Despite its cross-generation roots, the game is still going to sell a good amount of copies on the PS4, and is expected to give a boost to the PS4 hardware sales in Japan.
NeoGAF user Hisa-Kun has shared some pictures from the gaming stores in Japan displaying Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Check them out below.
In addition to his, he also shared info about the first day sell-through of the game on the PS3 and PS4.

This sell-through shows that the game is doing better on PS4 compared to PS3, which is surprising giving the gulf in the install base. It is also expected to give a boost to PS4 hardware in Japan for its launch week.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is currently out on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
