Konami has released another update today for Metal Gear Solid V today. This new patch updates the game to version 1.18 although there are currently no official patch notes available for it.
Metal Gear Solid V had received a new update recently that adds a playable Quiet in the game’s FOB Online mode. This update was released last month for all platforms including the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
After the new update was released, Konami has followed it up with another update today. The content of this update seems to be unknown at this point but judging from the size, it can be mostly for bug fixes.
In addition to releasing update version 1.18 for the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Konami has also released an update for the definitive version of Metal Gear Solid V. This is a different numbered update that patches the game to version 1.07 compared to 1.18 for the standalone release.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game was developed by Konami and directed by Hideo Kojima. It was the last Metal Gear Solid game that was released under Kojima’s direction. Konami followed it up later with a spin-off called Metal Gear Survive.
