In a surprising turn of events, Microsoft have officially revealed that they are going to launch a Kinect-Less Xbox One SKU. This new Kinect-Less Xbox One will cost $399 in the US and £349.99 in UK.

Microsoft’s Phil Spencer, who recently took charge of the Xbox One division, made this announcement on the official Xbox blog. It was also confirmed that entertainment apps are no longer behind the Xbox Live Gold paywall. In an statement on the official Xbox blog, Spencer talked about listening to the feedback of the fans and how it allowed them to make changes beginning with this lower priced Kinect-Less SKU and removing paywall for entertainment apps.
