Microsoft confirms Mouse and Keyboard support for Xbox One, X018 conference announced for November

Xbox head Phil Spencer confirmed that Mouse and Keyboard support is coming to the Xbox One as well as the X018 conference which is to be held in Mexico City this November.

Mouse and Keyboard support will be enabled for select Xbox Insiders in the coming weeks. Developers will be able to build mouse and keyboard support in their games if they want and how they want. The functionality will be per-title basis and developers have full freedom to take advantage of it as they see fit. It will not be enabled by default.

Microsoft confirmed that most mice and keywords will work with the Xbox One and they’re partnering up with Razer to bring new Xbox specific products. Free-to-play MMO Warframe will be the first game to take advantage of the feature will more titles to be supported very soon.

The X018 conference is a “a global celebration of all things Xbox” and will include news, first looks and surprises about the Xbox platform. The event will be held at the fourth yearly Xbox FanFest in Mexico City on the 10th of November, 2018. The event will be livestreamed.
