Mighty No.9 is a kickstarter project from comcept USA and the team includes an all-star team of veteran Megaman devs. The initial goal set by the kickstarter was of $900,000. Which as of this writing has reached $3,320,562. The goal list goes as follows:

- $1,500,000 = New Game Plus $ Turbo Mode [Reached]
- $1,750,000 = Making of Documentary [Reached]
- $2,000,000 = Bonus: Boss Rush Mode [Reached]
- $2,200,000 = PS3 / 360/ Wii U Versions [Reached]
- $2,400,000 = Challenge Mode [Reached]
- $2,550,000 = Extra End Stage and Boss [Reached]
- $2,750,000 = Beck & Call Online Co-op Challenge Mode [Reached]
- $2,900,000 = Intro stage and Boss [Reached]
- $3,100,000 = Support Character [Reached]
- $3,300,000 = PS4/Xbox One Versions [Reached]
- $3,500,000 = PS Vita/3DS Versions
- $3,700,000 = Single Player Call Stage and Boss
So far the goal has been reached to develop for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. The kickstarter started on August 31st 2013 and will end at the end of the day today, running for 31 days. There are a lot of limited time benefits present for people who donate more. Mighty No. 9 has overall received a lot of positive response from the fans of Megaman series. Megaman series’s character designer Keiji Inafune is the director for Mighty No. 9.
Mighty No. 9 is being developed for the PC with gamepad support, and will be made available through Steam and DRM-free digital distribution methods. The other versions on different platforms were a high priority but only if the set goals for them were reached. Mighty No. 9 is expected to release sometime in Spring of 2015.
