Mighty No. 9 Rumored To Be Delayed To Summer 2016

Mighty No. 9 was a huge success on Kickstarter where it managed to gather more than 3 million in public funding to secure a spiritual successor to Megaman. The game was being headed by Keiji Inafune, who is also known as the creator of Megaman.

Originally slated for a release in 2015, this kickstarted game has faced more delays and controversy than any other majority funded game on Kickstarter. It has been delayed numerous times and the silence from the developers regarding every potential delay is always a cause of concern for the fans.

Mighty No. 9 was originally confirmed for a release in Spring 2016 but despite this release window, it never quite managed hit it. The recent rumor states that the game might have faced another delay to Summer 2016.

While there is no official confirmation of such a delay, it might not be surprising to see this turn out to be true considering the silence from developers. Last time we heard from them, the game was experiencing some technical difficulties due to integration of its online multiplayer mode.

Mighty No. 9 is currently announced for the PS4, Xbox One, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U and PC. It is being developed by Comcept under the direction of Keiji Inafune.
