4J Studios has released a brand new update today for Minecraft for the PS4. This update was a hotfix that is released after the last Aquatic Update messed up the game and was reportedly crashing for users on the PS3 and PS4.
According to the official 4J Studios Twitter account, they were working on an update for it and just recently, it has been available to download now on the PS4.

The updated version of the game is now 1.77 which is available to download now on the PS4. There is no ETA on when the fix will be released for users playing the game on the PS3, but expect to see it soon as well.
Minecraft Aquatic Update finally launched earlier this month for the Sony consoles and some of the legacy hardware. It was already available to download on other platforms including the PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
Minecraft still retains a large majority of the player count with its unique block-building gameplay elements in a persistent online world. It is available on a wide range of hardware from the PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii U and even Smartphones.
