Monster Hunter 4G has been announced for the 3DS by Capcom, at the currently on-going Monster Hunter Festa event in Japan.
The game is scheduled for a release on the 3DS this fall in Japan. From the look of it, it is not coming to any other platforms. The users who played the original Monster Hunter 4 will have their save data carry over to Monster Hunter 4G.
Monster Hunter 4 has been wildly successful in Japan. The game sold more than 4 million units in Japan, selling way above Capcom’s expectation. The original Monster Hunter 4 has yet to receive a release in the West.
