Capcom revealed at their “Monster Hunter Fest ‘15 Finals” that a new Monster Hunter is coming to Nintendo 3DS.
Monster Hunter Stories will differ from the previous Monster Hunter games for the fact that it will be a full blown RPG. Few details are known about the game: it is planned for a 2016 release and it seems like the game is looking to cater to an even younger audience, with its stunning cel-shaded graphics and a kid looking character.
What’s interesting about this announcement is that, at least for me, it was somehow surprising seeing it announced for 3DS instead of being an exclusive New 3DS title. Of course it makes perfect financial sense considering the install base of the 3DS when compared to the New 3DS in Japan.
