Monster Hunter World was just revealed at Sony’s E3 2017 conference. The game was never confirmed to be an exclusive and it was later revealed that it will be coming to the Xbox One and PC as well.
Monster Hunter World is the first open world Monster Hunter game that is releasing on HD consoles. The series has been released on handhelds for a while now and it has practically remain an exclusive to the Nintendo platforms for a decade. The announcement of the game for the PS4, Xbox One and PC came as a surprise although the name has been leaked through a trademark listing by Capcom.
Capcom has shared an official press release announcing the game and it also contained an interesting piece of information. While the game is not exclusive to PS4, it will apparently feature unique content for PS4 users. Details regarding the content will be shared at a later date.
Also for PlayStation fans, there will be special Monster Hunter: World game content that is unique for PlayStation®4 players. More details will be shared soon.
It remains to be seen what kind of exclusive content the PS4 users will be able to get compared to the Xbox One and PC users. Monster Hunter World is set to release in early 2018 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
