Mordheim: City of the Damned is now available on Xbox One and PS4 after being released today. The game intends to attract a whole host of new players following its successful release on PC in November last year though it was released on Steam Early Access back in November 2014.
Mordheim: City of the Damned is a tactical RPG. It has been developed by Rogue Factor and published by Focus Home Interactive. This video game is based on a tabletop game, called Mordheim, which was manufactured by Games Workshop’s in 1999.
This video game is situated in the mysterious city of Mordhiem, which turns into a battlefield after a twin tailed comet crashed on it. In order to survive in this City of Damned, players have to choose a faction (Sisters of Sigmar, Mercenaries from the Empire, Skaven, or the Cult of the Possessed) which they will control to fight rival teams and collect gems, called Wyrdstone.
During the game, players will get the opportunity to improve their warband’s strength by recruiting, leveling, improving and customizing a bunch of warriors. The warriors can also be equipped with enhanced gears, transforming them into a terrifying force on the battlefield.
In addition to a single-player campaign, players can pit their warband against other players online as well.
