A Youtuber who goes by the name of MoreConsole uploaded a video to his Youtube channel today revealing the game modes fans will be able to play when they get their hands on Destiny. Using the Director, Destiny’s in-game navigation system, players will be able to choose between the various game modes such as Patrol, Strike, etc.
Patrol is a game mode in which you can explore the world and roam freely. There are a lot of places to explore in Destiny so you can play Patrol for hours without discovering everything Destiny’s open world has to offer. You can go to places like Mars, Mercury, the Moon, etc.
Bounty is a game mode where players will have to locate a target or targets, kill it or them and loot the targets. Bounty is a weekly event so a target won’t be available every time you login.
Strike is a game mode you can play with your friends. Strike consists of two teams which consist of three players each and a match lasts for about 15-30 minutes. It’s a great game mode to play if you’re looking for a quick match.
Factions War is probably going to be the most played game mode in Destiny but you will have to play couple of hours of the single player to unlock this multiplayer game mode so you won’t be able to dive straight into it as soon as you get the game.
We highly anticipate Destiny’s arrival on the 9th of September for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
