Nowadays, all that next-gen gamers talk about is FPS and resolution so that they get their money’s worth.
The Creative Director and Franchise Co-Founder of Mortal Kombat X, Ed Boon, recently shared some info on the upcoming fighting game on Twitter. He told the fans about the engine the game will be running on as well as the resolution and the FPS the game will run at.
RT @DreamCorridor @noobde Are you guys using Unreal Engine 3 or 4? EB: Using our highly self-customized version of Unreal 3. 60fps 1080p!
— Ed Boon (@noobde) June 6, 2014
Boon did not mention any platforms but I think he was talking about the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
We have only seen the reveal trailer so far and know that Scorpion and Sub Zero will be apart of the game. Boon also revealed that the Oni demon Drahmin may not make an appearance in Mortal Kombat X.
RT @The_MK_Freak @noobde You guys thought about adding Drahmin in the newest game? I would love 2C him again! EB: Kinda unlikely, sorry.

It’s not surprising that the Oni demon Drahmin won’t be playable in the upcoming Mortal Kombat game because the character wasn’t popular among fans and developers. But there have been a couple of images appearing all over the internet which were retweeted by Ed Boon.
The artist behind the image is Bernard Beneto, who is the the Senior Character Artist for NetherRealm Studios. So this is a legitimate image and this will be a new character in the game. You can view the images below:
We can expect more info to be revealed at E3 which is just a few days away. Mortal Kombat X will be available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC and will be coming out sometime next year.
