Mortal Kombat 11 Launch Trailer Promises A Compelling Story

Warner Bros. Interactive and Netherrealm Studios have shared the launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 today. It also shows some characters that are not a part of the fighter roster but will make an appearance in the story.

The launch trailer of Mortal Kombat 11 finally drops the official theme for the series. It is set to a remix created by international DJ, Dimitri Vegas and 2WEI, of the song “Techno Syndrome,” an iconic, cultural staple of the Mortal Kombat franchise since 1995.

“Kronika, the Keeper of Time, has signaled for a new era to begin as she tries to rewind time to its beginning and restart history. In order to restore balance to the realms, players must take on the role of numerous fighters from different eras, culminating in the ultimate generational clash as current characters collide with their past selves.”

Mortal Kombat 11 will be out on April 23, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It will also offer support for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
