Mortal Kombat X Officially Confirmed, Debut Teaser Trailer Released

Mortal Kombat X was spotted on Amazon UK recently for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It has now been confirmed for a release next year and you can check out a surprisingly gory teaser trailer, that shows a kick-ass fight between Scorpion and Sub Zero. The trailer confirms the 2015 release year but doesn’t list any platforms.

Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has been teasing about a new game for quite a while, and it was finally confirmed today. While details about the game are still not known, we do know that it is a cross-gen game, if we go by the listing of Amazon UK.

Mortal Kombat has seen various reboots throughout its life and the last one was a critical and commercial success. Hopefully this new one is more like the last one, which had the best story mode out of all the Mortal Kombat games.

You can also check out the logo of this new game below, which was shown in the latest teaser trailer.

Hopefully we will know more about the game at the upcoming E3, and might even get to see it in motion, in the form of a gameplay trailer.
