MS hints at something “special” for fans during Gears of War Pro League Champions stream

Microsoft is gearing up to host Season 1 of the Gears of War Pro League Championships tournament this Sunday, January 10, live at ESL Studios in Burbank, CA, where the top four professional teams will compete to be crowned the to be crowned as the first-ever champions. It seems that the console maker will also hold a special panel during the broadcast stream with the Studio Head of Gears of War developer The Coalition, Rod Fergusson.

According to MS’ Major Nelson, fans of the series are not going to want to miss out on this event. If we were to speculate, the special panel is highly likely to present a new reveal for Gears of War 4. Whether it’s from the game’s campaign or a sneak peak at its multiplayer mode remains to be seen. Though, given that the event is all about Gears eSports, it’s more probable that we’ll get some new info on Gears of War 4’s multiplayer offering.

MS is also giving fans who tune in the chance to win a custom Gears of War Xbox One. For more details on how to win, visit during the event, or head to the rules and regulations page for further information.

The stream will go live at 11:00 AM PST (2:00 PM EST) this Sunday on the official Gears of War Twitch channel, so be sure to tune in if you’re a fan of the Gears of War series.
