Uncharted 4 is available worldwide starting today. It is the last Uncharted game from Naughty Dog and it was originally revealed at E3 2014. After its initial reveal, it was showcased again at PSX 2014 and then again at E3 2015. Both of the times, it featured a new gameplay demo. Unfortunately there was a bit of mishap during the E3 2015 demo which has now resulted in a hilarious trophy being added to the game.
The trophy, which can be seen below, can be acquired if the players stand still before beginning the city chase as seen in the E3 2015 demo.
This trophy idea actually came from reddit and it was pursued Kurt Margenau, who is the lead game designer for Uncharted 4.
The original reddit thread was made almost 6 months ago by user Lukeid123 which got a reply back by Kurt Margenau using his reddit profile 3 months later. Although at that time, no one had any idea if he was being serious or just kidding.
Fast forward to today when the users have discovered this trophy and we finally see Kurt posting in the thread on reddit where the trophy is mentioned along with the original user who suggested it.
I figured at least you would try to get the trophy this way without knowing about it. It was too good not to put in! : D
So there you have it. Despite the slight mistake that happened at E3 2015, Naughty Dog had no issue in making fun of it. They even added a trophy to the game which poked fun at the mistake that they had on stage for the E3 demo.
