NBA 2K17 will be officially released on September 20. It is being developed by Visual Concepts and will be published by 2K Sports.
If you have pre-ordered the game on PS4, get ready to download a huge 6.6 GB update before you can launch it. There are no patch notes available for this update aside from the generic text in the update history: “Improved the stability of the title in addition to a number of general improvements to the user experience.”
NBA 2K17 is available for the PS4 and Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It is the next game in the yearly franchise that also includes a story mode. The story mode is called “My Career” mode that features a complete storyline for the player created basketball star. There are also some celebrities involved in the story mode including Michael B. Jordan. Spike Lee was hired to direct the story mode for NBA 2K16.
In addition to story mode, there is “My Team” mode that focuses on creating the ultimate Basketball team. This allows the player to create their own custom team including their jerseys, logos and team players. Their custom built team can compete with other player’s team.
