NBA 2K19 was recently updated to version 1.03, however, users are now reporting server slowdowns, which has led to an official response by 2K Games.
If you haven’t heard about the new update, it is available to download now on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is a major update that includes plenty of fixes, evident with the massive changelog for it.
On Reddit, the official 2K Games support person commented on the issues faced by the users and clarified that it has nothing to do with the new patch. Here is what is the issue according to the support person.
These issues are not likely to be related to Patch v1.03 as I’ve seen many saying. Issues you may experience include but are not limited to the following. Note: Most VC-related issues are temporary.
- -1 VC, fix by either restarting console or going into MyTEAM
- Unable to use VC to purchase items like clothes or attributes
- Unable to purchase VC
- Purchased VC not showing up immediately
- Disconnecting out of games
- Unable to join friends
- Unable to connect to MyTEAM
He later updated that the issues are mostly fixed for others, but they still exist heading into today. Over at the NBA 2K19 subreddit, fans are still complaining about server issues, as evident with two of the most upvoted posts being related to them.
NBA 2K19 is available now on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
