Back in June, 2016, a poster was leaked on the internet which featured Batman and Flash with the tagline: “Every battle defines you”. The poster confirmed the development of a new Injustice game, and at E3 2016, NetherRealm released the debut trailer for the game.
A week after that, a new gameplay trailer for Injustice 2 was released, which featured Superman and Batman duking it out. The trailer also revealed that the game will have underwater combat, which added to the fans’ excitement.
Injustice 2 will feature all of the fan favorite heroes, which they played in the previous games, as well as a few new ones. Deadshot will be making his debut in the upcoming fighting game, due to his popularity in the recent action movie, Suicide Squad.
Injustice 2 is being developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game is set to come out on May 16th, for the PS4 and Xbox One.
