New Dishonored 2 Gameplay Features Protagonist Corvo Attano

Bethesda Softworks has recently put out a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Dishonored 2, and this time we get a look at the game world from the eyes of one of the two playable protagonists in the game, namely Corvo Attano.

The trailer shows off some of Corvo’s interactions with the otherworldly Outsider and the new antagonist this time around, the usurper named Delilah Kaldwin. Also showcased were some of Corvo’s returning and enhanced powers as well as the new enemies in the game, including the brand new mechanical Clockwork soldiers.

Dishonored 2 takes place fifteen years after the first game and follows the events of the dethronement of Empress Emily Kaldwin’s throne by the otherworldly usurper Delilah Kaldwin. After a brief prologue where the player is put in control of Emily, players have the choice of playing as either Corvo or Emily throughout the rest of the game.

Emily Kaldwin utilizes a unique set of powers specific to her, and play-styles will vary greatly between the two characters. In fact, this time around players may choose to reject the powers offered by the Outsider altogether, allowing them to go through the game without them and adding a whole new level of difficulty for the players.
