id Software has just released new DLC for their first-person shooter game, Doom. This is the second DLC id Software has released for Doom, and is called Hell Followed.
The DLC called Hell Followed was released earlier today for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It introduces tons of new content to the game by adding three brand new multiplayer maps. After downloading the DLC, players will be able to play on the maps known as Molten, Orbital and Argent Breach.
Hell Followed also adds a new weapon called the Reaper and the Threat Pulse equipment to the game. Alongside the new weapons and equipment, new armor sets, patterns, colors and taunts are also being added to the game.
The new DLC also introduces a new demon to Doom. Hell Followed adds a new demon called the Cacodemon to the game that fires energy blasts from its mouth, and has the ability to chomp down of enemies who get too close to it.
Hell Followed is available for $15, however, if you are a season pass holder, the DLC is free for you. id Software is celebrating the release of Hell Followed by launching double XP weekend which starts at 12PM ET on October 28th. Hell Followed is now available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
