During the PlayStation Experience last December, Cory Barlog, the big mouth director of the new AAA game at Sony Santa Monica Studio, revealed that this new game is indeed a new God Of War and we can assume that he is the director. A fan on Twitter expressed his love for the franchise and that Cory returned to work on it. Here‘s Cory’s reply:
The new God Of War is “still so early” in production so that a new trailer or even a teaser won’t probably be ready for E3, maybe even for PSX 2015. Honestly, we were expecting to not hear God Of War news at E3 since the game is still far away but to have the confirmation from the director himself is still a little demoralizing. I hope that when the game is revealed, it will be with a stunning gameplay trailer showing what Sony Santa Monica is capable of with PS4.
If you can’t wait for your God Of War fix however, we remind you of God Of War III Remastered that was announced at the God Of War 10th Anniversary celebration. The game will come out on July 14th on PS4.
