With the console release of Watch Dogs 2 just around 4 days away, Ubisoft has now released the final launch trailer for the game.
The trailer starts with a look at why our protagonist Marcus Holloway is on a vendetta against ctOS, showcasing how he was arrested on an 82% probability of committing a crime. The trailer also goes on to explain the main motivation behind DedSec, and adds context to why “followers” are so important to acquire in the game.
The rest is just the typical, but not any less impressive, montage of action sequences where Marcus hacks, punches and shoots his way through enemies.
Set within a fictionalized version of the San Francisco Bay Area, Watch Dogs 2 puts players into the role of our previously named protagonist, Marcus Holloway. After being accused of a crime he did not commit, Marcus teams up with the notorious hacking group DedSec in order to take down the ctOS 2.0 surveillance system and the notorious Blume Corporation.
Watch Dogs 2 is due for a release on 15th November 2016 on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. The PC version of the game will then launch on 29th November, 2016.
