New Metal Gear Solid V videos shows Ground Zeroes opening, 1080p TGS demo footage

Konami has uploaded a new video of Metal Gear Solid V on their official site. This video shows the opening of Ground Zeroes and is voiced in English.

Metal Gear Solid V is the upcoming entry in the popular Metal Gear Solid series and is built on Fox Engine for the first time. Kojima demoed Metal Gear Solid V on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, we shared both of these videos and made a comparison between both versions here.

This is the first Metal Gear Solid game that is not being voiced by David Hayter. Keifer Sutherland now voices Snake and Kojima says it is due to him requiring both motion capture + voice acting lead that he choose Keifer Sutherland.

Kojima has said that he might not return to direct Metal Gear Solid V. We all know that Kojima loves to say this after releasing every Metal Gear Solid game and then comes back to do another one so we are sure he might return eventually to direct Metal Gear Solid VI.

Metal Gear Solid V still has no concrete release date. It is divided in two chapters, Ground Zeroes will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 while The Phantom Pain will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Phantom Pain is rumored to be 300 times as huge as Ground Zeroes.

Update: Konami has also uploaded two new videos that show the TGS gameplay videos in full 1080p glory. You can see both of them below
