Persona 5’s story puts players in the shoes of a 16-year-old protagonist after he is transferred to the fictional Shujin High School in Tokyo. While staying with friends of his parents, he meets up with problem child Ryuji Sakamoto, the withdrawn Ann Takamaki, art student Yusuke Kitagawa, and a talking, shape-shifting cat-like creature known as Morgana. The five form a group known as the “Phantom Thieves” with the purpose of carrying out heists, while also encountering mysterious occurrences along the way.

The game was originally slated for a 2015 release in both Japan and the US for the PS4 and PS3. However, at this year’s Tokyo Game Show in Japan, Atlus announced at that the game has now been pushed to the ‘Summer 2016’ period.
