Nintendo has released a new gameplay footage for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. This footage reveals the brand new Alola region that is featured in the upcoming Pokemon game. It also gives us a glimpse at some of the special moves of the Legendary Pokemon from both games.

Alola appears to be a Hawaii inspired region even from the sound of its name. This region appears to have tropical islands and will also introduce new characters including Professor Kukui and her assistant Lillie.

The two legendary Pokemon that are featured in each of the game include Solgaleo, who is a psychic/steel based Pokemon. Solgaleo uses Sunless Steel strike to wipe out his opponent in the video. The other legendary Pokemon is Lunala, who is a psychic/ghost based Pokemon. Lunala uses Moongeist Beam strike to wipe out the opponent.

Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun will be released on November 18th, 2016 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is being developed by Game Freaks and will be published by Nintendo. This is a brand new mainline Pokemon game that will feature new Pokemon as well see the return of old favorites.
