New Resident Evil 2 Remake Artwork Shows Leon And Claire Fighting Zombies

Resident Evil 2 Remake was one of the major announcements at E3 2018. It has been confirmed to launch on January 25th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Capcom has shown us plenty of gameplay for Leon but Claire is mostly seen in glimpses and she hasn’t really received a proper gameplay footage.

GameStop has recently shared a brand new artwork from Resident Evil 2 Remake that features Leon and Claire on the cover. There is also a hilarious error on the banner that advertises the release date of the game. It lists the release year as 2018 instead of 2019.

Resident Evil 2 Remake will feature a complete visual overhaul of the game with a new third-person camera. It still has multiple playable characters with both Leon and Claire having their own scenario, but it ditches the zapping system and multiple endings in favor of a more focused campaign for both characters.

Resident Evil 2 Remake will feature a focus on survival horror instead of being a standard third-person shooter according to the game producer. PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will also benefit from support for 4K and high frame rate compared to the base consoles.

Resident Evil 2 Remake will be out on January 25th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The system requirements for the PC version can be seen from here.
