Bandai Namco Entertainment has just released a brand new character trailer for Miguel, for their upcoming release of Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.
Miguel Caballero Rojo is a Spanish character that made his first appearance in Tekken 6 alongside characters such as Bob, Lars, Alisa, Leo and Zafina. According to the official character description from the trailer, “The rebellious Spaniard has returned for Tekken 7 to continue his quest for revenge, looking for those responsible for his beloved sister’s death.”
The game will feature one of the darkest storylines in the franchise’s history, and will act as the conclusion of the Mishima clan saga. Not only will it act to provide a conclusion of sorts for the feud between Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama, it will also give answers for, among other mysteries, the origins of the Devil Gene. Akuma from Street Fighter will also play an important role in the story.
Tekken 7 is the latest game in the wildly popular Tekken franchise, and is the first game in the series to utilize the Unreal Engine. And although the game has previously gotten a limited arcade release in Japan, this will be it’s first appearance on home consoles and the PC.
Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is set to release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC sometime in early 2017.
