Lightning Returns is getting some love today.
Square Enix released the game’s box art and a picture of the game’s Lightning Box (which is a special edition of the game). Apparently, the Lightning Box is only limited to Japan for now.

The Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII E3 trailer has also been officially released. The trailer features the North American and European release dates, 11th and 14th February 2014, respectively. Previously, we were told that the game would come out this Autumn, but those plans seem to have changed now. The delay will probably mean well for the game. Let us hope it’s worth it.
What do these release dates mean for Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy XV though?
The trailer reveals a little more of the game’s plot. The city of Yusnaan and Snow Villiers – a prominent character in Final Fantasy XIII and a temporary character in XIII-2 is also seen. You can watch the trailer here.
