Developer Digital Extremes has just released a brand new trailer for an upcoming expansion for their free to play game Warframe.
The new expansion titled, The War Within, will be the largest and most content heavy update for the game thus far, and is set to arrive next month for free for all players. The War Within will continue where last year’s The Second Dream left off, and players will need to have completed it in order to access this expansion.
The update will see players heading on a journey to the Grinner Queen’s Fortress, where more of the mysteries of the Tenno will be revealed. Aside from the main quest, the update will also bring with it new weapons, enemies, and more features that the developers will unveil close to launch.
The official description reads :
“The War Within will have you embark on a chilling journey, where both your Warframe and Operator will be pushed past their limits as you slowly unravel mysteries about the Tenno’s past and their true capabilities. To begin this journey, you must have completed The Second Dream Quest and have access to the planet Sedna by unlocking the Pluto-Sedna Junction.”
Originally released back on 25th March, 2013, Warframe is now available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC. The War Within will be released sometime in mid November.
