New Xbox One Experience Firmware Update Is Live For Xbox One, Requires 1 GB+ Download

New Xbox One Experience has started to go live across various regions. This update should be up for all the regions shortly afterwards so in case you still haven’t received an update, you have to wait for a while until it goes live in your region. The update has also been confirmed to be live in Australia in addition to North America.

The size of this update is around 1.1-1.2 GB. This is a major update as it completely revamps the dashboard and UI of Xbox One and includes tons of new features. It is also a lot more faster in term of speed and snappier compared to the old UI.

This update was available to Xbox One Preview Members for the past few weeks as a Beta and this is the first official Public release of this new firmware.

Microsoft has announced the list of backwards compatible games that will be available along with the launch of this new firmware update. You can take a look at them here. Keep in mind that this is just the initial list of backwards compatible games and more will be added at a later date.

Let us know if you have managed to update to this firmware in the comments below.
