New Xbox One Update Released On Jan 22 For Preview Members, Fixes Quick Guide And Live TV

Microsoft has released another new Xbox One firmware update for the Preiew members. This appears to be a rather minor update judging from its changelog as its fixes the Quick Guide menu and Live TV.

• Live TV
You should no longer encounter a black screen or no signal error when launching Live TV after resuming from connected standby (using either a USB TV Tuner or via HDMI-in).

• Quick Guide
The Quick Guide should no longer fail to launch when double pressing the Xbox button or navigating to the left on the dashboard.

Microsoft has confirmed that a major firmware update will be released for the Xbox One this February. It is currently available for all the Xbox One preview members and will officially launch for the public next month. This new update also allows users to hide games that can be seen in the currently available download list, which means users will be able to hide them if they want.

Xbox One

Xbox One received a major firmware update in November along with the launch of backwards compatibility. This firmware update was called New Xbox One experience and it has also added Xbox One to Windows 10 streaming in addition to support for Windows 10.
