A new Fire Emblem game was never the question of if but instead when, and now we know the answer to that. In the recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed a brand new Fire Emblem game headed to the 3DS. The game doesn’t have a title yet but more information is promised soon.
Intelligent Systems, developers of Fire Emblem: Awakening and previous games in the series are making a return to work on the new game. Yusuke Kozaki will be working on the character designs while the game’s story will be penned by comic book writer Shin Kibayashi.
