The latest ‘Canary’ build of Yuzu (build 1814) has been released and it comes with great speed boosts in games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey and more.
In previous builds Yuzu would have trouble maintaining and hitting frames in the region of 50-60 but in the latest build it is able to hit 80fps in certain areas in Super Mario Odyssey.
Thanks to the great work of Rodrigo and @notfunnei, games in yuzu have nearly doubled in speed within the last week! Try it out with Pokemon, SMO, Splatoon, BOTW, and others in the latest Canary builds. Please support us on https://t.co/9TAOcCxEFN if you like what we are doing!

BSODGaming reports huge improvements in the update on his rig running an i7 8700k at 5GHz, 16GB DDR RAM, GTX 1080Ti and a 256GB NVME SSD; check out some gameplay with the new build below:
For those uninitiated these are huge improvements and strides made in just a few months. Super Mario Odyssey for example has gone from 30fps to 80fps in just 5 months. Usually it can take several years for Emulators to just boot the games for a recent console like the Nintendo Switch.
Pokemon Let’s Go is pretty much playable smoothly right now, but has a few minor glitches. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is another game that’s gorgeous in higher resolutions, check it running here (do note this is a previous build):
Yuzu is a full feature emulator that allows users to play Switch games at high resolutions and frame rates, with external shaders and many other improvements.
What Switch game would you like to play at higher resolutions and frame rates on your PC? Let us know in the comments.
