Nintendo Switch launch price and release date has been official revealed by Nintendo in a livestreamed presentation. The company has also confirmed that Switch will be the first region free system from them.
The official release date for Nintendo Switch is March 3rd and this date is for worldwide launch. The price has been confirmed to be $299. There won’t be any region lock for Nintendo Switch games.
Nintendo also seems to be following the footsteps of its competitors and is offering paid online for its console. The pricing plan for the online multiplayer hasn’t been revealed yet.
Since Switch can be played in both handheld as well as console mode, the battery life is estimated to last around 2.5 hours to 6 hours depending on the requirements of the game.
Some of the confirmed games for Switch include Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8, which now features new content compared to the Wii U version.
