Nintendo Switch Will Get SNES Through Online Subscription; Leaked List Of Games Posted

Nintendo Switch users might be able to play SNES games soon on their console through the Nintendo Switch online subscription. Here’s a list of games that were leaked for it.

While Nintendo hasn’t officially announced anything solid regarding the Nintendo SNES virtual console for Nintendo Switch, users who were able to get their hands into some Nintendo Switch files were able to extra a set of games that are from the SNES.

It has been rumored for a while by now that SNES games will be available on the Nintendo Switch online service gradually as the subscription matures. There are rumors about possible GameCube and other systems also making the cut, but there is nothing solid on this front so far.

This is the first time the list of games that will be available on the virtual console has leaked in any capacity, but treat this as a rumor and not confirmation. Source of this leak is a Twitter account which shared the list of games claiming it was found through the data mining of Nintendo Switch online subscription.

This does seem like a lot of games and there are some fan-favorite first party games that have made the list here. It will be interesting to see these end up on the Nintendo Switch online subscription service one day if this turns out to be true after all.
