During Sony’s pre-TGS press conference, Koei Tecmo has confirmed that their upcoming hardcore action RPG, NiOh, will be released on February 9th, 2017 worldwide. The game was originally set for a release in 2016 but it is likely delayed to early next year.
NiOh is an action RPG similar in style to Dark Souls but much more faster paced and brutal with its own varied gameplay. The game has also received two different demos that have served as a beta for it.
NiOh will be released exclusively for the PS4 on February 9th, 2017. The game has been often compared to Dark Souls series due to its brutal difficulty but it adds some new dynamics to the gameplay by focusing on a faster paced combat with special abilities.
