No Man’s Sky Is The Best Selling Launch On Steam In 2016

Although No Man’s Sky has had a number of problems with it’s PC launch, the game has very quickly become the best selling game on Steam this year. Not only is the game the biggest launch this year, it has also become one of the best selling games in Steam’s history.

According to Steam’s stats, No Man’s Sky had 212,620 users on launch. While this number is trumped by Dota 2 and Counter Strike: Global Offensive’s massive player base, PC Gamer has estimated that it is still around 46% greater than every other release this year. Stats also showed that Steam servers were dishing out an average of 4.7 terabits per second as people downloaded the game.
