Hello Games has revealed the day one patch notes for their upcoming space exploration game, No Man’s Sky. The patch notes mention a lot of interesting changes and can be read from here.
Since No Man’s Sky street date has been broken, the game is already out in the wild. Users who are lucky enough to obtain an early copy can now download the day one patch for their game, which updates the game to version 1.03. This update is around 800 MB in size, as confirmed by Hello Games’ Founder, Sean Murray.
The patch notes are also mentioned in the game itself, as seen in the screenshots by reddit users wiseee and Notfromajedi. These screenshots also show the download size, which is a little over 800 MB. The interesting bit for the in-game patch notes is that they tease new things with a short bit at the end as “More Secrets.”
No Man’s Sky developer Hello Games had to deal with the early leaks of the game, which was the result of the street date being broken. One of the early user had claimed to have reached the center of the universe in No Man’s Sky in just 30 hours, which was a far cry from what the developers had claimed earlier regarding the game.
No Man’s Sky will have procedural generated planets and according to the developers, this results in the game having Quintilian procedural generated planets that can be discovered and named by the users. Once a planet is discovered and named, it will contain the name as selected by the user in the server.
No Man’s Sky will be released on August 9th for the PS4 and August 12th for PC.
