No Man’s Sky On Xbox One X Offers 1440p 60 FPS Performance, 4K Quality Mode

No Man’s Sky is available to play now on the Xbox One. This the first time the game has made it to the console after launching earlier as a timed exclusive for the PC and PS4. This version also comes with the major NEXT update that adds support for 4 player co-op. It has been confirmed that you need Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus subscription in order to play online.

As a new game that is launching on Xbox One and offers support for the Xbox One X, there are two modes available to pick here. One is the performance mode that runs at 1440p resolution and lets you enjoy 60 FPS experience of No Man’s Sky. The other is the Quality mode that runs at native 4K. This mode runs at a lower frame rate but gives a better image quality.

If we compare the support here to the PS4 Pro, there is no new mode offered here. The difference is in the resolution. Performance mode runs at 1080p and 60 FPS on the PS4 Pro while Quality mode runs at 1800p on the PS4 Pro.

No Man’s Sky is available to download now on the Xbox One. It is also available for the PS4 and PC. The game was developed and published by Hello Games.
