NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 revealed, will cost $249 MSRP and $299 for Founders Edition

The long rumored NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 has finally been pictured along with all the juicy technical details. The card will be available first for $299 for the Founders Edition and $249 MSRP for the aftermarket partner cards.

All the details come via Videocardz.com who managed to leak the official press images and technical slides.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 will be competing directly with the AMD Radeon RX 480 which was recently released in the market. The green side’s latest budget offering comes with 1280 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR5 memory running on a 192-bit interface.

Official benchmarks aren’t in yet but leaks so far suggest that it outperforms the 480 by a slight margin.
