Following the release of the game on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 back on 7th September, FDG Entertainment has announced that Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas will be making it’s way to a Nintendo Platform.
Developed by Cornfox & Bros, Oceanhorn is an action adventure game that takes inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Now, in light of the game’s recent milestone of reaching 1 Million Sales, it has been announced that the game will also be heading to Android devices, the PlayStation Vita and an unnamed Nintendo console.
The official statement reads:
“After the successful launch of Oceanhorn on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the game managed to top 1 Million units sold across all platforms. Oceanhorn is currently available on iPhone and iPad, Apple TV, PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox. The game will be ported to even more platforms soon – including Android, PlayStation Vita and a Nintendo console.”
As of yet, the “Nintendo Console” has not been explicitly stated, though speculation has led many to believe it may be the Nintendo NX. Even if that might not be the case, the game could just as easily be coming to the Wii U or the 3DS.
Back in August this year, it was also announced that a sequel titled Oceanhorn 2: Knights Of The Lost Realm was in development.
