Oculus Rift To Launch With A Free Copy Of Lucky’s Tale

The Oculus Rift’s launch just got better because everyone who buys the Oculus Rift will get a free copy of Lucky’s Tale with it.

Lucky’s Tale is a game specially designed for Virtual Reality hardware. The official website of Oculus Rift has also shared some details regarding this game. In the game, you have to make your way through the land by performing different tasks as you play as the fox, Lucky.

A gameplay footage of Lucky’s Tale was also released which hint’s that the game will be playable with the Xbox One controller that will comes with every unit.

According to the director of Lucky’s Tale, Dan Hard; “It’s all about the interplay of the way the camera engine works, which is always to design first and foremost for comfort, and then the ways we can push that to do interesting things with the level design.”

The game is developed by Playful .Corp, who developed many game prototypes for the VR in the past few years. The founder of Playful .Corp, Paul Bettner, was inspired to create this game after he visited the Oculus HQ. He also gave $5000 in the Rift’s Kickstarter campaign.

The Oculus Rift, bundled with Lucky’s Tale, will ship in the first Quarter of 2016. Though pre-orders are not live yet, but the company has confirmed that they will open them soon.
