Ever since Oculus Rift was announced, players have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on it and today, they will be happy to know that they will be getting their own Rift soon as Oculus VR recently announced that pre-orders for Oculus Rift will open on January 6, 2016 meaning that you can pre-order the most popular VR product tomorrow. This was announced on the Rift’s official blog.
The blog posts states that “Today, we’re excited to announce that pre-orders for Rift will open on Oculus.com at 8am Pacific Time on January 6! We’ll be sharing everything you need to know to order your Rift on Wednesday when pre-orders go live.” This means that we will hear something regarding the Rift’s price and release date soon.
The founder of Oculus, Palmer Luckey, will also hold a Q&A during the upcoming Reddit AMA which is on Wednesday at 6PM Pacific Time. It is also confirmed that every unit of Oculus Rift will be shipped with a free copy of Lucky’s Tale, a made-for-VR platformer. The game will be playable through the Xbox One controller that will be included with the Rift’s bundle.
