Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for One Piece World Seeker and announced the release date on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
One Piece World Seeker is an open world One Piece game developed on Unreal Engine 4. It will feature an original story arc that is different from the anime or manga and has new characters created by the Eiichiro Oda. It was confirmed for a release in early 2019 and now we finally have an official date set for it.
Bandai Namco has confirmed that One Piece World Seeker will be out on March 15, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can watch the announcement trailer below that also goes in detail behind what to expect from the game’s open world and gameplay mechanics.
This is the first major One Piece game with such a large scope that is built from the ground up for the current generation. In the past, there have been a couple of fighting games and ports of releases from the previous generation, but no One Piece game that was made with current generation in mind. It will be interesting to see how it fares when it launches on March 15, 2019.
