The Order: 1886 Finally Receives Photo Mode

Today PlayStation revealed that a new update for The Order: 1886 is available: Photo Mode. This is one of the most requested features that fans wanted since before the game even released, on February 20.

Here are some The Order: 1886 screenshots using Photo Mode:

The Order: 1886’s Photo Mode seems more deep than the ones seen before in games such as inFAMOUS: Second Son and The Last Of Us.

For starters, you use the Touchpad to stop the action and the analog sticks to fly around. If you hold L2 while moving around, you’ll move slowly whereas if you hold R2, the camera moves more quickly; L3 is used to toggle Auto Focus. R1 and L1 are used to change from the different options: you have Focal Length, Depth of Field, Hide Characters and most importantly, Colour Grading which allows you to change the filter of the image. There are other options that let you adjust the image quality at your will such as Brightness, Vignette, Film Grain and Motion Blur.

There’s one more thing that makes this Photo Mode even more awesome: you can use the option Lock Grading to, in fact, lock the filter you used in the Photo Mode to play the entire game like that. Pretty cool.
