The Order: 1886 release date seems to have been pushed further in 2015 as confirmed by Industry Insider shinobi602. The game was earlier set for a 2014 release but it seems like we won’t be getting it anytime soon.
Shinobi602 also offered some comments on what he thinks about the Fall 2014 lineup for the PS4.
Hey, at least it won’t get massacred in the Fall. Just way too many games coming out, it’ll be better for it.
I don’t know what else Sony has in store this year honestly. I’m sure they must have something to make up for it…
The Order: 1886 is a brand new IP from Ready at Dawn, and it is going to be released exclusively on the PS4.
This news might not be surprising as we heard rumors of most of the 2014 releases being delayed to 2015. This also includes Microsoft’s Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Earlier this week, we got brand new gameplay trailer of The Order: 1886, which showcased a very recent build of the game running with improved graphics, lighting and better post processing effects. The developer also couldn’t comment on a potential release date, when asked about it, they refused.
Ready at Dawn are famous for developing many critically successful titles on the PlayStation platforms. Their previous work that made them famous include God of War Origins Collection on the PS Vita, which are regarded as some of the best God of War games, ranking close to their console brethren.
